  • I absolutely love coming to BACA Chess events. It’s such a friendly, chilled atmosphere and there’s honestly something for everyone, whether you’ve been playing for years or you’ve never touched a chess board before.

    You can get coaching if you want to improve, play relaxed games, or join the more competitive timed games if that’s your thing. Even if you’re just looking to meet new people, it’s a really easy place to chat and hang out.

    One of the best things for me has been the people. I’ve made loads of friends through BACA Chess, and we even meet up outside of chess now. It’s become much more than just somewhere to play. It’s a genuinely lovely community, and I always look forward to coming back.
